We had a conversation with our OB-GYN, she
said my situation with endometriosis, I should be doing one of three things at
all time. One: birth control; two: Lupron; three: pregnancy. Basically, when we
are done with family planning, I need to stay on birth control for the rest of
my adult life. Her advice for me was to have a hysterectomy in my 50s. That
way, I do not have to worry about taking medicine.
With that weighing on my mind, I’m taking
it one day at a time, especially since I’m only in my second of nine months of taking
Lupron. Needless to say, we think the process is too long but we are determined
to start a family.
