My husband and I have been trying to start a
family for the last year. I’m afraid I have not thought through the side
effects of Lupron. Some of the side effects I have been experiencing are: acne, hot flashes at night, cramps at night and slight heart palpitation (today). My OB-GYN assured my husband and me that we are going to
have a family (either through intrauterine insemination [IUI] - which requires me to be on Lupron for 9 months - 1 year or IVF).
Meanwhile, I’m taking Lupron because she wants to give us a chance to start a
family in a less invasive way. I realized by the time I have to go through IVF,
I would have already taken Lupron and the damage is done.
